Now there are three more good reasons to participate in a health care or dependent care spending account:

• Certain over-the-counter drugs are reimbursable. Now you can use your Health Care Spending Account to reimburse purchases of eligible over-the-counter drugs for medical care. These include antacids, pain relievers, cough medications, laxatives, first aid products and allergy medications. Click here to access the FSA Over-the-Counter Health Care Reimbursement form.
• You can use Aetna Navigator to track spending account claims and payments. Aetna sends you a paper Explanation of Payment (EOP) for your Flexible Spending Account(s). However, you can also request that an e-mail be sent to advise you when a new electronic EOP is available. Instructions are included in your welcome package.
