Please note: Initial orders for a supply of covered medication cannot be submitted via the Internet. Members must submit an original prescription, with their member ID number written on the back, along with the New Participant Order Form. You can click on the link below and print a copy of the form.
Aetna Rx Home Delivery must comply with all applicable dispensing laws. Those requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Prescriptions cannot be faxed by the member (they can be faxed by the provider's office).
- In order for Schedule II medications to be dispensed in any quantity greater than a 30-day supply, your physician must write the diagnosis on the prescription. Some examples of Schedule II medications are Ritalin, Oxycontin and MS Contin.
- Pharmacies are prohibited by law from filling a prescription that is more than one year old even if there are refills remaining.
